Terms and Conditions of business

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Sprinkles the Magician (Sarah Lake Wynen), and by booking any event or service, the Client agrees to the following terms.

1. Definitions

• The Client: The individual or organisation booking services from Sprinkles the Magician.
• The Performer: Sprinkles the Magician (Sarah Lake Wynen), including any assistants acting on her behalf.
• The Event: The agreed date and location where services will be provided.
• The Services: The entertainment package as agreed between the Client and the Performer, which may include magic shows, balloon twisting, and/or games.
• The Price: The total cost agreed for the Services, including any applicable travel fees.

2. Booking, Payment & Travel

2.1 A £25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. This must be paid via bank transfer.

2.2 The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event, also by bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Travel within 10 miles of Worcester WR4 is included. Travel fees apply as follows:

• 11–20 miles: £15
• 21–30 miles: £25
•  31–40 miles: £35
• 41–50 miles: £45

Travel fees are calculated based on the one-way distance from Sprinkles' home-base to the event location. These charges will be added to the final balance.

3. Cancellation or postponement by the Client

3.1 Cancellations must be made in writing (email).

3.2 The following cancellation fees apply:

• More than 30 days before the event: Deposit only
• 15–30 days before: 50% of total Price
• 8–14 days before: 75% of total Price
• 1–7 days before: 100% of total Price

3.3 Rescheduling will be accomodated without fees if notice is given 7 days or more before the event, subject to the Performer's availability.

3.4 The Performer may choose to accomodate rescheduling at late notice (less than 7 days before the event), but this is at the Performer's discretion.

4. Cancellation or Postponement by the Performer

4.1 The Performer reserves the right to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergency, or events beyond her control. In such cases, the Performer will:

• Offer to reschedule the event if mutually convenient, or
• Offer a full refund, including the deposit, if rescheduling is not possible.

4.2 The Performer is not liable for any other costs incurred by the Client as a result of cancellation.

5. Event Requirements

5.1 The Client agrees to provide:

• An appropriate space for the performance (large clear area with minimal distractions).
• Access to a power source, if available (preferred but not essential).
• Supervision of all children by responsible adults at all times during the event.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 The Performer holds Public Liability Insurance up to £1 million.

6.2 The Performer will always act with reasonable care and professionalism.

7. General

7.1 Any changes to the agreed Services, venue, or timing must be confirmed in writing and agreed by both parties.

7.2 These terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
